 “The Vampire Scribe”

Although the vampires of Night’s Knights get a lot of information from Reidar, interaction between them is not something we get to see in the book. He is a vampire that was left to discover all of life’s mysteries for himself. Luckily, he wrote them down for others to learn from. Some may think that Victoria’s biggest crime is attempting to kill Severina, but the fact that she burns Reidar’s entire library kept over centuries was tough for me to write. As a book and journal lover, I wanted to intervene. Victoria wouldn’t let me. She claimed it had to be done, The Souls demanded it.
